WHY ANOTHER BAPTIST CHURCH IN SACRAMENTO?
- We offer a church that holds to the historic Baptist ways from which most Baptists today have departed. - A church who believes the truth that the Lord’s churches have always been local, visible bodies, not an invisible, universal body. - A church who holds to the Great Commission as it was given by Christ to His church. - A church whose God is the blessed controller of this world, whose will is done both in heaven and earth. - A church whose Saviour did more than just want to save, but saves all who the Father has given to Him. A Saviour who shed His blood to redeem. - A church who would love to have you attend our services and know our great God! |
WHAT IS A MISSIONARY?
Simply, a missionary is one who is sent out by a church to start a new church work as was the Apostle Paul in Acts 13:1-4…
"...Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work
We have been sent to the Sacramento Area.

OUR MESSAGE TO SACRAMENTO AND THE WORLD IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST...
What is the Gospel?
I think before we can answer this question, we first must look at one of the greatest questions asked in the word of God. “How should man be just before God?” Job 9:2 It is an important question for you, dear reader. We must know how sinners like you and I may be just before God.
Without doubt, you and I are sinners. “For all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23. “The wages of sin is death” and “the soul that sins, it shall die.” The gospel, or the “good news,” is the wonderful message of God’s way of salvation to all who will receive Him.
The gospel is defined in the scriptures, I Corithians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved if ye keep in memory what I have preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried and that he arose the third day according to the scriptures:”
God in grace, chose to love us and gave His Son to die for our sins. “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8.
Christ not only died but was raised for our justification as in Romans 4:25, “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
Dear Friend, this is the only way for us to be just with God. “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: That he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth In Jesus.” Romans 3:25-26
Only by trusting or believing in what God’s son has done for us can we be saved. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Also, Acts 16:30-31.
